Elections

Hopefully Buz can finish this week

Show Edit

Need to see if Buz is well enough, Birgit offered to stand in

- New story ideas and crew requests

Harvard Housing

After the meeting, Jim called the guy who owns the house and left a message

FCC

Jim and Ann arranged to work with the person filming for CCTV, after the meeting

EPIIC

In the works: Elizabeth to review footage and this may become a piece for the show

- Getting Water story back on track (there was some progress on this last week, but more is needed)

We forgot to talk about this. Ooops. Lets capture momentum after this show is on air.

- 'Anchor' recap of uncovered Cambridge stories?

We will try this as an experiment for the next show.

- Confirm next meeting time

Given the rush to get this show together, we agreed to meet next Sunday at 4pm, at CCTV.

- Any Other Business

Press Release

Birgit was put in charge of submitting something to the Chronicle, at least for the Calendar. We didn't discuss having a screening

Climate Stories

Fruitful discussion on possible stories on Carbon Offsetting/Travel, Food Carbon/Travel labelling and Costs, Ethanol production (good and bad). Tim in charge, Rafael interested.

VPRs

Can be related to above Ethanol them, Video Press Releases and their non-news worthiness. Rafael and Tim interested in covering this.

Community input and output

Rafael suggested that next time we film a speaker, we can get feedback from community on their thoughts on the speaker. Matt suggested getting together a panel from the audience to discuss on tape their thoughts afterwards. Rafael also suggested going to groups in the community, MIT and Harvard as a start, to get material and input from them.

Restaurant stories

Tim will help Rafael get sources to get started on these. Green restaurants of particular interest. Rest of group will help as needed.

The Bridge

Matt will go to a Bridge meeting to see if we can report on their next set of themes. We will get ideas (likely to be more community focused) and they will get written reporting from us. Matt has spoken to the Editor and Lloyd on a 3-way call this week to discuss collaboration. Rest of group were positive about idea.

Meeting adjourned around 6.15pm (we started 20 minutes late) but various ongoing activities (see above) followed.
