Eventually present - Angel, Birgit, Buz, Jen, Jim, Ann C, Andrew, Jonah, and Arash, a potential member and friend of Birgit.

Segment progress checkin - Angel will work on Worlds Fair followup, has b-roll she needs and old interview footage. May do new interviews.

Possible Green Street Grill piece with John Anderson, who recently sold it the place to a new owner.

Birgit - has footage(?), but is looking for the story in the alewife material.

Beach and Mass Av. Andrew and Jim have some b-roll, some on-street interviews, have made calls to builder, architect, neighborhood assn with no replies.

Ann C - has several things in fire.

Council Candidates - still no callbacks from last three candidates. Ways to finish piece without them were discussed. General conclusion, just do a voiceover that says certain candidates declined to issue statements, possibly pad with b-roll of campaign signs and activity from around town.

Story or padding idea - voter information tips - where to vote or how to find out, cut off date for registration, etc. Or we could substitute this story for the candidate statements when we have to take the statements out of the show for the XXTV quiet period before the election.

Dance Hall Public Hearing - personal priority for Ann. Hearing is Tues.

Festivals from around town. Lots of footage - this is "aging" so is better used sooner than later.

Boston Latino Film Festival - has interviews and crowd b-roll, possible angle is that there were mostly women attendees, but mostly male directors. More events at mit next weekend.

Buz - has cctv brownout footage, may get interviews. Will definitely get Head of the Charles Rowing and Crowd Footage.

We took a minute to help reconstruct minutes from last meeting.

Party issues - the next show premier meeting is a big outreach push and is also halloween eve so should be suitably themed.

Food Volunteers for Party.

Angel - paperware, etc. and chips. Andrew - Haloween candy etc. Jen - Pumpkin, and pumpkin muffins/bread. Jonah - brownies. Buz - Beer for 10 or so. Birgit - Soda and finger food.

Issue - not nourishing - resolution: above is for patry. We will eat earlier during the meeting before the party.

Food for the troops:

Ann C - salad Jim - pizza.

Flyer - much discussion. Birgit brought a draft flyer. Ann had several objections. Resolution - improve flyer - emphasize that its a party, make more eye catching. Ann, Birgit, Jen will work on.

Other ways to make our outreach effective. Andrew will make buttons. Jonah will do a drawing like the image we used under the logo in one episode for it.

Andrew and others will meet Sunday afternoon at cctv to do a brochure. This is to hand out at party meeting and other occasions.

(Not discussed - we need to collect names, emails and phone numbers at the party.)

Schedule of party - as before, meeting @6:30, talk @7:00, party@7:30, screening @8:30, end and cleanup @9:00.

Jen will schedule room. Buz will set up room including projector.

Flyer postings - Andrew will post at GBH, a stack will be placed at cctv desk. Jim and Birgit at MIT and BU as planne. One suggestion - print 10 for each of us to distrubite, though Buz thought 80 flyers would be too many. Another suggestion - tear off strips at bottom of page.

Jen will bring the You Are Here pumpkin.

Misc.

Birgit has preliminary web page done.

Jim has put web streams of all (some?) shows online.

Jonah will do archiving and hard disc cleanup.

Buz will do dvds for episode 5.

Other issues from agenda pushed to next meeting due to reaching 9:00.
