Short Summary: The Cambridge African American Heritage Trail committee, and the Cambridge Historical Society, collaborated and brought the African American Experience to the Hooper Lee Nichols House, in Harvard Square, a proper setting to look back in time, and explore slavery and abolition activities that took place, here in Cambridge.

Short Summary: For the 11th year in a row, more than one thousand high school and college students from across the Northeast travelled to New York to protest human rights abuses across the world as part of "Get On the Bus" Amnesty's largest entirely volunteer-led event, organized by a local group from Somerville. The demonstrations targeted human rights violations in Sudan, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and China.
