Plan for Show 7-15-05
From YAHWiki
6/22 - As of today I am not working on any story ideas, so I could help with other people's projects. I will also try to come up with my own segment. --Andrew
Structure of Next Show
In response to Moogie's comment in last meeting's minutes...
> Moogie asks what structure of show will be like: topic breakdown? > News director job.
My (Andrew's) feeling is that the structure will be very similar to the first show -- same opening graphics, focus on individual news segments with "(wo)man on street" introductions, and add existing or new interstitials as filler if necessary.
Questions:
- 1) Do people have new ideas about the structure of next show?
- 2) Have we talked about how to change credits? If not we should add to next meeting's agenda.
- 3) Are there volunteers for conducting "person on street" introductions? I can do this but I need help.
Answers to any of above questions would be great! Email whole group or andrewott1@gmail.com.

My 5-minute segment will be available for the 7-15 show. My rough notes & links are here: Bike Week Segment 5 04

I am thinking about some ideas for the structure of next show in August, (or when ever), but I think for now that Andrews ideas are OK. I would like to be more interactive or involved in the production/Editing part of the next show. I offered my services several times, but I guess to many cooks can spoil the broth. I do want to be more involved though, with you Andrew, with the News ideas, so lets Talk. Some New stories or Human interest ideas I have so far, are: The Worlds Fair-(I have word that it is going to take place, in September, date to be somewhere around the last 3 sundays of that month. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but they are having a meeting this week, and Sir Cecil will let me know. I would like to do some live Interviews with them again, as well as use some old footage, plus add some from new people. I have plenty of B roll material that can be used. My question will be "Who is fronting the money" "What stages get sponsored" "Who gets left out". Other suggestions on this topic would be great. Next: Continue up with "Kids Just Wanna Have Fun Crew"- they want to go visit the Edilbe Arrangements for a Tour on how the Fruit Baskets are Made, and also Visit Cristians Ice Cream Shop, and have a mini tour there. Next: Some mothers have asked me to do a peice on "Mother's and Stress, where to go for Relive" Next: Brailian Cultural Center, would like to show there services. Next: The Caribbean Connection Radio Station Host David Martin, would like to talk about his show, and how it connects the West Indian community together here in Cambridge, and else where. Next: Some BeLivers have some special talents off the camera, like singing and poetry, something could be done with a few of them, who have expressed an interest in our NEWZ show and Tell wayz.
Of Course there are a thousand things to cover. these are just a few that have come my way, and certainly I will do my best to work on some of them, if not all of them, at some point. If anyone is interested in helping let me know. See you all at the meeting tonite (Monday 7-18-05)
